He waved a hand. “That’s their choice. But living in a polarity isn’t a full life.”
“And yet they live it anyway.”
“This is just my opinion. I follow my path, not anyone else’s.”
“As you should, Little Drummer Boy.”
“Stranded? Do tell me more. He calls me sir, I’m already liking this one! But don’t mistake me for a simple joker, kingdoms have fallen before me, and I all I did was utter a single word, all you need is a spark, and mortals will explode like gunpowder!”
“I know, trust me.” A small smirk spread on his lips, “I have no reason for my banishment, nor memory. Those two things tell well together, however.”
“No memory and banishment? Almost as good as a love for ketchup and a tendency for violence! I can only imagine the havoc you’ve caused so far, well, I might have done it, but you don’t seem the crazy type, just cold, which works too, in most cases that is, just lacking a bit around the creativity”
“I am unsure,” he hummed, “if I will ever know about any of this business.”
“Good man! I’ll leave you to it then, don’t want to interrupt your fun, now do I? Ta!”
He gave a soft wave before disappearing.
“I’m an optimist.” He shrugged. “Can’t help that.”
“I do not understand it; the world shows its terribleness often, as does life in general. Why hope for the best when you will get nothing but despair?”
“Because if you don’t have hope, there’s no point in living anymore. And I like living. Life is full of good things and bad things. Balance.”
“You can accept the bad and still live.”
“I do. But I don’t dwell on it.”
“I meant those who make it the dominant.”
